About
Born and raised in South Louisiana, Peyton Murphy always knew his purpose was to help others. After earning his law degree from Tulane University and being admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 1993, he founded Murphy Law Firm, LLC in Baton Rouge. Nearly three decades later, his name has become synonymous with advocacy and results. From securing multimillion-dollar verdicts to fighting for everyday Louisianans, Peyton approaches every case with the same principle: every client deserves to be heard, respected, and represented with excellence. Outside the courtroom, Peyton is a proud father of three daughters and an active member of the Baton Rouge community. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he led efforts to distribute over 67,000 masks and 100 gallons of sanitizer to residents and frontline workers. Through partnerships with HOPE Ministries, the American Cancer Society, Dreams Come True, Kelli’s Kloset, and the Battle Against Autism, Peyton continues to make a lasting impact across Louisiana. When he’s not fighting for justice, you’ll find him golfing, bow hunting, or saltwater fishing with his loyal dog, Waylon—embracing everything Sportsman’s Paradise has to offer.
